Role & responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum Development

• Digital Media Production and AI in Journalism
• Real-time content creation and personalization
• Data-driven reporting and investigative storytelling using AI tools
• Multimedia storytellingvideo, audio, interactive graphics, and immersive formats (AR/VR)
• Media ethics, algorithmic accountability, and the societal impact of AI in journalism
• Develop innovative pedagogy integrating hands-on newsroom simulations and digital-first workflows.

AI-Integrated Media Training

• Automated transcription, translation, and content editing
• Headline and caption generation
• Fact-checking, misinformation detection, and verification of digital content
• Audience analytics and engagement through intelligent algorithms
• Introduce students to emerging tools for video production, data visualization, and cross-platform storytelling.
• Ability to teach

Research & Innovation

• Conduct research on digital media transformation, AI ethics in journalism, and data communication.

• Lead collaborative projects with industry and technology partners.

Industry Collaboration & Mentorship

• Establish linkages with media houses, digital platforms, and AI companies for student internships and live projects.
• Mentor students in creating digital-first, audience-centric, and ethically responsible content.
• Supervise student research and production-based projects.

Practical Media Production

• Oversee student participation in in-house media labs, podcasts, and visual storytelling projects.
• Collaborate with media practitioners for skill-based workshops and masterclasses.
• Work closely with the Schools media unit to integrate AI-assisted newsroom practices.

Qualification:

Post Graduation

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience, including significant exposure to digital journalism or AI-driven newsrooms.

Demonstrated record of publications, projects, or professional practice in digital media or AI applications in journalism.

Salary is not a constrain for a right candidate.
