As a Full Stack Software Developer at PLS, a modern property law firm, your role will involve working across the full stack with strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (both class-based and functional), TypeScript, PHP, SQL, and RESTful APIs. You will be responsible for integrating front-end and back-end systems, including mobile app development and database interactions. Adherence to best practices in responsive design, secure coding, and clean, maintainable code is crucial. Your duties will include: - Ensuring frameworks and libraries are up to date and addressing any known vulnerabilities promptly. - Overseeing version control, branching, merging, and reviewing changes before deployment. - Utilizing development tools, debugging approaches, deployment methods, and CI/CD pipelines effectively. - Promoting a straightforward approach to problem-solving and recognizing when to use off-the-shelf solutions. - Prioritizing security at every stage and ensuring proper testing, including unit testing and peer reviews. - Mentoring less experienced developers, promoting collaboration, and sharing knowledge openly. In terms of qualifications, you must have: - Strong full-stack development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, SQL, and RESTful API integration. - Familiarity with PHP for legacy code maintenance. - Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology, unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and version control. - Ability to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible solutions. - Experience in SQL query optimization, relational databases, and secure coding practices. - Collaborative team player with mentoring experience and a security-conscious mindset. Furthermore, staying informed about emerging technologies, upskilling within the team, and familiarity with the Proclaim (Eclipse) case management system would be beneficial. Regarding Training & Development, you will be responsible for: - Understanding and adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. - Completing all allocated training and reading within specified timelines. - Attending all training sessions rolled out by the Training Team. - Maintaining an up-to-date training record.
