About the Role

As the Founding Engineer at Fomogo, you’ll be part of the core team building our product from scratch. We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in React.js and Node.js, and the grit to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Build and ship core product features using

  React.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend)

• Work closely with the founders on product design, fast iterations, and scaling features
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Own features end-to-end with accountability and speed
• Be ready to put in the hours and energy required at the early stage

Required Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of React.js and Node.js
• Familiarity with

  Postgres

  (database design, queries, performance basics)
• Problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Resilient, ownership-driven, and willing to go the extra mile

Good to Have

• Experience using AI coding tools like

  Cursor

  ,

  GitHub Copilot

  , etc.
• Previous

  startup or early-stage product-building experience
