Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: CareStack is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer to contribute to building its next generation healthcare platform. As a Senior Engineer, you will report to a Staff SDE within your business unit. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and release services and solutions aligning with the goals and objectives of your business unit. Key Responsibilities: - **Technical Design**: - You should be capable of creating comprehensive designs to address specific problems and deliver product features or technical advancements. Conduct design reviews, propose abstractions and patterns, and evaluate the reusability of suggestions made by other developers in your team. Your design reviews should focus on security, performance, scalability, and other relevant non-functional requirements. - **Process Definition/Adherence**: - Drive estimations, review test scenarios and cases created by QAs, and facilitate sprint grooming and planning meetings. Advocate for standard techniques for grooming, defining story complexity, and estimation. - **Code Quality**: - Uphold the belief that code quality reflects character. Write scalable, maintainable, and reusable code. Promote clean coding practices, continuous refactoring, and the adoption of coding patterns and best practices. Ensure testability of functional areas, facilitate integration testing, and assist team members in resolving complex technical issues. - **Team Player**: - Proactively communicate to resolve dependencies within and outside the team. Build the ability to anticipate and resolve conflicts within the team. Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing and engage in objective, data-driven conversations. Mentor and coach new team members. - **Value/Mission Alignment**: - Advocate for CareStack within the product team. Help establish workplace and cultural norms that align with CareStack company values within your business unit. Qualification Required: - **This role may be suitable for you if**: - You have a strong desire to join and contribute to scaling an early-stage technology company. - You possess 2+ years of experience in designing and building modern web platforms using Microsoft technologies on the backend and Angular on the front end. - You are proficient in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented analysis and design of software systems. - For backend specialists: Good understanding of event-driven programming, distributed systems, caching/in-memory computing systems, and data modeling for transactional systems. - For frontend specialists: Deep understanding of browser and JavaScript fundamentals, designing, building, packaging, and deploying applications using the Angular 2+ framework. - You enjoy designing innovative solutions, writing, and reviewing code, and engaging in healthy debates with logical reasoning and data-driven viewpoints. - You embrace a collaborative mindset, seek and provide constructive feedback, and value data-driven, objective conversations with clarity and precision in communication.,
