Full Stack Engineer

**Job Description** **Role Overview** As a Senior Engineer at CareStack, you will play a crucial role in building the next generation healthcare platform. Reporting to a Staff SDE in your business unit, your primary responsibility will be to develop and release services and solutions for the platform, aligning with the goals and objectives of your business unit. **Key Responsibilities** - **Technical Design**: Whether you are a generalist or a specialist in technology areas, you should be capable of creating complete designs to solve specific problems, drive design reviews, suggest abstractions and patterns, and review reusability suggestions made by other developers. Your design reviews must scrutinize security, performance, scalability, and other relevant non-functional requirements of the features being developed. - **Process Definition/Adherence**: You will be responsible for driving estimations, reviewing test scenarios/cases created by QAs, and facilitating sprint grooming and planning meetings. Learning, practicing, and evangelizing standard techniques for grooming, defining the complexity of stories, and estimation will be part of your role. - **Code Quality**: At CareStack, we believe that code quality reflects your character. You must code for scale, produce maintainable reusable code, evangelize clean coding and continuous refactoring, ensure a high level of code quality, and facilitate integration testing. Your role involves resolving technical issues, ensuring testability of team functional areas, and proactively helping team members solve complex problems. - **Team Player**: You should proactively communicate to resolve dependencies within and outside the team, preempt conflicts, foster a culture of learning and sharing knowledge, engage in objective and data-driven conversations, and mentor and coach new team members. - **Value/Mission Alignment**: As a champion for CareStack within the product team, you will help drive workplace and cultural norms within your business unit that align with CareStack company values. This role may be suitable for you if you have an insatiable itch to join and scale an early-stage technology company, 2+ years of experience in designing and building modern web platforms using Microsoft technologies on the backend and Angular on the frontend, proficiency in data structures and algorithms, and a deep understanding of .NET Core/ASP.NET or Angular 2+.
