As a Full Stack, AVP at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, your role involves developing, enhancing, modifying, and maintaining applications in the Enterprise Risk Technology environment. You will design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting activities for the corporate systems architecture. Your contributions will span all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis to production support. - Develop software in Java, object-oriented database, and grid using Kubernetes & OpenShift platform. - Build REST web services and design interfaces between UI and REST service. - Develop data-grid centric UI. - Participate fully in the development process throughout the software lifecycle. - Engage fully in the agile software development process, utilizing BDD techniques and collaborating closely with users, analysts, developers, and other testers. - Write high-quality code using test-driven development, clean code practices, and constant refactoring. - Work on a range of technologies and components, including user interfaces, services, and databases, acting as a generalizing specialist. - Define and evolve the architecture of components, contributing to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level. - Ensure reliable and easy-to-support software in production, being prepared for on-call support when necessary. - Assist in building, testing, and releasing software with minimal waste and short lead times. - Contribute to creating a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond. - Deep knowledge of at least one modern programming language, with understanding of object-oriented and functional programming; knowledge of Java and Scala is ideal. - Practical experience with test-driven development, continuous refactoring, and web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React. - Exposure to Big Data Hadoop technologies/BI tools is advantageous. - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, SQL, and relational databases. - Experience working in agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or XP. - Experience in Functional Analysis is highly desirable.
