Position: Full Stack Android App Developer Company: Ambrosia Systems Inc. Location: Remote Salary: Market-rate (based on experience) About Ambrosia: Ambrosia Systems is a global leader in affordable, real-time continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) solutions. Our products are used in over 100 countries and have transformed diabetes management for hundreds of thousands of users. Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Android Developer who has built and launched at least two Android applications from scratch with over 1 million users globally . You will lead development and optimization of Ambrosia’s Android apps and collaborate closely with our back-end, AI, and product teams. Key Responsibilities: Build and scale Android apps from concept to production Optimize UI/UX for responsiveness and performance Develop and integrate backend APIs (Node.js/Python preferred) Deploy and maintain services on AWS Monitor app usage and performance; iterate based on real-time user feedback Ensure best-in-class security and data privacy standards Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Android development experience with Java/Kotlin Proven track record: 2+ apps developed from scratch , each with 1M+ global users Proficient with AWS services, especially EC2, RDS, and SNS Experience with REST APIs, mobile analytics, Firebase, and app store deployment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred: Experience in real-time health, wellness, or medical apps Exposure to IoT, Bluetooth integration, or wearable devices Compensation & Application: Ambrosia offers market-rate salary based on experience and expertise Please include the following in your application: Salary expectations Earliest possible joining date Links to published apps and/or GitHub portfolio Apply by sending your resume and portfolio to : career@ambrosiasys.com Show more Show less
