Frontend Web Developer

You are a detail-oriented and motivated Frontend Web Developer with strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience working with WordPress. Your responsibilities include converting Figma designs into responsive, functional websites, and customizing WordPress themes using page builders like Elementor. Basic familiarity with Shopify is a plus but not mandatory. In terms of website development, you will convert Figma or design files into fully functional WordPress websites, build and customize WordPress themes using Elementor or custom coding, create and manage child themes as needed, configure and manage plugins to extend site functionality, and convert Figma designs into responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates when required. Your coding and troubleshooting tasks involve writing clean, semantic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript code, using JavaScript to implement dynamic front-end functionality, troubleshooting and debugging front-end or WordPress issues, and ensuring cross-browser and device compatibility. For maintenance and optimization, you will maintain and update existing WordPress sites, perform site backups, plugin updates, and basic optimization, ensure mobile responsiveness, and good performance scores such as PageSpeed and GTMetrix. Collaboration is key as you work closely with designers, coordinators, and developers, understand and execute project requirements with minimal supervision, and communicate professionally with domestic and international clients. In terms of technical skills, you should be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, have a strong knowledge of WordPress including Elementor, themes, and plugins, basic PHP knowledge for theme/plugin customization, familiarity with MySQL and databases, and bonus familiarity with Shopify theme structure and Liquid. Soft skills required include strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn new tools and technologies, good communication, and time management skills.
