Shift:

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with your team to design, implement, and test features and bugfixes in our React application.
• Collaborate with product managers and your team to refine the product backlog.
• Promote engineering best practices within your team to ensure quality, accessibility, Performance, and maintainability of your software.
• Be a champion of the customers voice and ensure our products are built with empathy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of frontend or full-stack software engineering experience with a distributed Product & engineering team using React, preferably with TypeScript.
• Strong experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG), best practices, and testing Strategies using tools such as JAWS, NVDA and axe-core.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced software release environment, where you deliver Production-grade software daily for a system with millions of users.
• You can contribute to the full software development life cycle including writing Application code, writing unit/integration/automation tests, documentation, and Performance engineering.
• Strong sense of customer empathy and a commitment to delighting customers.
• Beneficial but not required: full-stack experience, E2E testing experience with Playwright or similar frameworks.
