Job Description

Job Title: Front Office Assistant

Location: The Indian Public School – Main Branch

Role Summary

The Front Office Assistant will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, providing excellent communication support, and ensuring smooth administrative functioning. The ideal candidate must have strong English language communication skills and be highly tech-savvy, with the ability to manage digital tools, data entry, and basic administrative software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front-desk activities including welcoming visitors, handling enquiries, and managing phone calls.
  • Maintain visitor logs, appointment schedules, and daily front-office records.
  • Handle student/parent interactions professionally and provide accurate information.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation, and report preparation.
  • Coordinate with teachers, admin staff, and departments for information flow.
  • Manage emails, digital communication, and basic office correspondence.
  • Support ERP/LMS operations by entering and updating data when required.
  • Ensure front office area is organized, presentable, and efficient at all times.

Skills Required

  • Excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written (mandatory).
  • Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in MS Office, data entry, email handling, and basic administrative software (mandatory).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant and professional attitude.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Eligibility

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
  • Prior experience in front office, reception, or administrative roles in schools or similar settings (preferred).
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong English communication and solid computer skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
