Job Purpose

Monitoring and executing all dyeing activities of wool tops and wool yarn within the defined standards of quality, cost, time, safety, and sustainability.

The shade tallying as per customer s requirement is very important, an any mismatch will result in rejection. We need to constantly check all types of fastness properties in the top and mend it for further operation. Otherwise, after the garment is made, after washing, all water will come out

Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 To meet the delivery schedule Daily coordination & plan dyeing program accordingly. Planning for machine sequencing and programming Tallying the party s shade and JST shade. Filling the lot dyeing card before execution of dyeing operations. Planning for Raw material, Color & chemicals for bulk dyeing and obtaining it from PPC. Material delivery planning for worsted spinning. Coordinating with them for the availability of machine for spinning to meet their spinning requirement target every month. Manpower planning for bulk dyeing KRA2 Machine utilization & efficiency Monitoring all necessary predictive/planned maintece & machine programming. New programmed entry and modification of existing programmed. KRA3 Improve & maintain product quality Design & monitor quality parameters & systems for all products & frequent follow up and crosschecking against std. procedure. Matching the standard provided by the development team for bulk dyeing of shade consistency within tolerance level. KRA4 Cost Control Innovate new ideas and initiatives towards bulk dyeing in terms of OTIF and lead time. Ensuring the dyes used are of least cost and best quality for cost optimization. KRA5 Enrichment of personnel skill Motivate working force to undergo training & skill development programs. Ensure participation of individuals in improvement initiatives. Honor & implement workers suggestion towards development. KRA6 Safety measures Identify & act to ensure safe working conditions in dept.
