The Position

hands-on, creative, and technical

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality

  HTML5 slot and casino games

  using

  PixiJS and/or Phaser.js.

• Write

  clean, maintainable, and efficient code

  using

  JavaScript (ES6+)

  and TypeScript.
• Enhance and extend our award-winning codebase with new features, animations, and game mechanics.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing games (including EGR’s Game of the Year 2020, Branded Megaways).
• Work closely with

  Game Designers, Artists, and Mathematician

  s to deliver polished, engaging slot experiences.
• Ensure performance optimization across devices and browsers.
• Follow best practices for version control (Git/Bitbucket) and code documentation.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment and contribute ideas during design and sprint planning sessions.
• Guarantee compliance with industry standards and technical certification requirements.
• Manage multiple game variations and configurations to meet partner and market demands

The Candidate

highly skilled Front-End Game Developer

Required Skills & Experience:

4 years of professional experience in the iGaming industry

Hands-on experience with PixiJS and/or Phaser.js

• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript skills.

• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive game interfaces.

• Familiarity with Git version control and collaboration platforms (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).

• Proven ability to work with creative teams (design, art, math) to bring slot concepts to life.

• Strong eye for detail, animation flow, and visual polish.

• Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for casino gaming and awareness of the unique challenges of regulated markets.

Preferred:

• A degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

• Experience with asset pipelines, particle systems, and game performance tuning.
