Frontend Developer – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with strong expertise in WordPress and e-commerce website development to create and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites. You will be responsible for turning design concepts into fully functional WordPress sites and ensuring smooth performance across all devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites using custom themes and plugins.

* Build and customize e-commerce websites (WooCommerce preferred).

* Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and SEO-friendly frontends.

* Customize existing WordPress themes and integrate APIs or third-party services.

* Collaborate with backend developers and designers to ensure seamless integration.

* Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance.

* Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and security practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 3–5 years of frontend development experience.

Core Skills:

* Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.

* Proficiency in WordPress* (themes, plugins, and custom post types).

* Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

* Experience in API integration and WordPress REST API.

* Knowledge of UI frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.

* Basic understanding of SEO-friendly frontend development.

* Exposure to e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce preferred).

* Familiarity with Git for version control.

Soft Skills

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

* Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.

Education

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,013.29 - ₹1,464,040.11 per year
