You will be joining Geesha Solutions Private Limited as a Freight Broker in Mohali, India. Your main responsibility will be overseeing transportation and logistics operations, which includes negotiating freight rates, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. To excel in this role, you should possess strong negotiation and communication skills along with a good understanding of transportation and logistics operations. Previous experience in negotiating freight rates and coordinating with carriers will be beneficial. You must be able to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance is essential, as well as proficiency in relevant software and tools such as TMS and ERP systems.
