Fresher Optometrist

As an Optometrist at Lenskart, your role will involve conducting comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, fitting contact lenses, managing patient eye health, and providing pre- and post-operative care. Additionally, you will be responsible for customer service, promoting eyewear, driving sales, and participating in retail operations. Core Clinical Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using specialized optometric equipment, including refraction and ocular health screenings. - Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye, and prescribe appropriate medications. - Prescribe and fit corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses) as well as other vision aids. - Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries, monitor healing progress, and manage potential complications. - Educate patients on their vision issues, recommend solutions, and guide them on the proper use of corrective lenses and eyewear. Retail and Customer-Focused Duties: - Greet and assist walk-in customers, provide advice on eyewear, and address customer concerns to ensure excellent customer service. - Recommend appropriate eyewear solutions, explain features of different lenses, and work towards achieving sales targets. - Participate in stock management, maintain the overall appearance and organization of the retail space, and contribute to store operations. - In leadership roles, mentor and train new optometrists on clinical and customer service skills.
