Key Responsibilities:
Conduct basic and advanced vision tests to determine visual acuity and perception.Perform eye examinations to identify visual defects, diseases, and other eye conditions.Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend suitable eyewear or contact lenses.Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper eyewear maintenance.Maintain accurate patient records, including examination findings and treatment plans.Assist in the selection and fitting of eyeglasses and contact lenses.Stay updated with the latest optometric practices, technologies, and products.Collaborate with ophthalmologists for advanced patient care when necessary.Handle and maintain optometric equipment and instruments with care.
