What you’ll do:

• Edit short-form videos and reels for Instagram and other social platforms.
• Turn SCC’s outdoor screenings, special events, and brand partnerships into visually engaging and shareable content.
• Reimagine cinematic experiences into fast-paced, emotionally resonant edits.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop thumb-stopping video content that fits SCC’s brand voice.
• Add music, captions, transitions, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Manage quick turnarounds while maintaining high-quality output.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong sense of visual rhythm, storytelling, and platform trends.
• Proficiency in

  DaVinci Resolve

  ,

  Premiere Pro

  , or

  Final Cut Pro

  .
• Prior experience editing for digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• Awareness of current social media trends, editing styles, and audience behavior.
• Ability to work independently while responding well to creative feedback.
• A portfolio or showreel that showcases your editing style, especially short-form content.

Bonus points if you:

• Have a knack for crafting cinematic yet fast-paced edits.
• Understand color grading and sound design.
• Have worked on lifestyle, events, or brand content.
• Can occasionally join SCC events for on-ground content capture (not mandatory).
