Job Title: Video Editor — Instagram Reels (Viral Content Style) Company: Paragon Peak (Canada) Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor who specializes in Instagram Reels and short-form viral content. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of timing, trends, hooks, captions, and transitions — and be able to create engaging reels that capture attention in the first few seconds. The editor must understand both Punjabi and English , as many projects will include mixed-language content. Key Responsibilities Edit Instagram Reels, Shorts, and social media videos in viral & modern content style Add engaging captions, subtitles, effects, and motion graphics Implement hooks, jump cuts, zooms, and trend-based transitions Repurpose long-form content into high-impact short clips Maintain brand tone, pacing, and visual consistency Collaborate with social media team and content managers Stay updated with trends, sounds, & editing formats Deliver files on time while maintaining high production quality Required Skills & Experience Strong experience editing Instagram Reels / TikTok style content Knowledge of viral editing patterns & storytelling Proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro / Final Cut / CapCut / After Effects Ability to edit fast without compromising quality Must understand Punjabi & English (listening + comprehension) Good sense of pacing, rhythm, and audience engagement Creative mindset with attention to detail Nice to Have Experience editing podcast clips, talking reels, vlogs, or lifestyle content Basic motion graphics or typography Awareness of social media trends & meme culture What We Provide In-house training on brand style & workflows Access to all required tools & assets Supportive and collaborative creative environment Long-term growth opportunities Performance-based incentives Who This Role is Ideal For This role suits someone who: Loves editing short-form content Understands viral social media psychology Enjoys working in a fast-moving creative environment Wants to grow in digital marketing & content production
