Freelance Technical Recruiter / Interview Lead (Contract, Remote)

DeutNet Solutions is an early-stage, remote-first startup that helps European clients scale their engineering teams. As demand rises, we’re expanding our interview capacity so every candidate reaches the client fully vetted and ready to succeed.

Why We Need You

Our client SLAs are tight. We must deliver multiple interview-ready candidates within 48–72 hours whenever a new role opens. To meet that standard, we’re building a network of independent recruiters or engineering managers who can run the complete screening funnel on a success-fee basis.

What You’ll Own

• Review incoming résumés and apply knockout criteria (skills match, notice period, compensation range).
• Conduct a deep technical interview - i.e live coding, portfolio walkthrough, or case study tailored to the role’s stack.
• Run a culture-fit call that checks communication skills, remote-work discipline, and overlap with European time zones.
• Summarise each interview in a concise scorecard and upload it to our ATS.
• Shortlist the top profiles and brief us before CVs go to the client.

Must-Have Experience

• 5+ years in technical recruiting or Software engineering management.
• Comfortable interviewing across multiple stacks (backend, frontend, DevOps, data) even if you are not a hands-on expert in each. You know how to probe fundamentals and spot strong engineering practices.
• Solid grasp of modern interview tools i.e CodeSignal, HackerRank, live pair-programming, or your own proven framework.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to summarise findings clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
• Availability to schedule and run interviews within 24 hours of notice.

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to EU or US hiring processes.
• Familiarity with GDPR-compliant data handling in recruitment.
• A personal network of pre-vetted engineers you can tap quickly.

• Success-fee model only.

• We provide Google Meet, Slack and ATS access; you bring your interview expertise.
