Role Overview

VOH is inviting freelance professionals with a medical or allied health background to join as 

moderators for region-specific healthcare projects. This role involves engaging with 

healthcare professionals and communities in regional languages to ensure culturally relevant 

and medically accurate communication. 

Key Responsibilities

∙

assigned regional language.  

∙Engage with speakers, participants, and audiences to ensure smooth and insightful 

conversations.  

∙Translate or interpret medical discussions when needed for regional audiences.  

∙Review and validate event-related content for accuracy and cultural relevance.  

∙Coordinate with VOH’s event and content teams for pre-event preparation and post-

event reporting. 

What We’re Looking For

∙Educational background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, or allied 

health sciences.  

∙Fluency in Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, or Telugu (spoken and written).  

∙Prior experience in event moderation, healthcare communication, or public speaking 

is preferred.  

∙Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.  

∙Willingness to travel for on-ground events (if required).  

 ∙Comfortable using digital platforms like Zoom, Teams, and webinar tools.

∙Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
