Software Engineer (Frappe / ERPNext)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  custom applications, modules, and integrations

  using Frappe and ERPNext.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Write

  clean, reusable, and well-documented code

  following best practices.
• Conduct

  code reviews

  , mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimise performance, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to the

  Frappe / ERPNext open-source community

  through bug fixes, feature improvements, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 1+ years of proven experience in

  Frappe Framework

  and

  ERPNext

  development.
• Expertise in developing complex ERP modules, workflows, and custom DocTypes.
• Strong

  Python

  development skills and understanding of SaaS architecture.
• Familiarity with

  MariaDB/MySQL

  ,

  REST APIs

  , and modern

  JavaScript

  .
• Ability to translate business goals into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Open-source contributions to Frappe or related projects (GitHub links preferred).

Nice to Have

• Frappe Framework certification

• Experience deploying and scaling ERPNext in production.
• Knowledge of
