Job Description

You are urgently required for the position of FPSO Piping Design Engineer / Designer at an MNC based in Navi Mumbai (Oil and Gas industry) on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months (extendable). Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading and supervising a team of Piping Engineers and Designers as the Lead Engineer of the project. - Ensuring efficient project execution within the stipulated schedule and budget. - Being familiar with offshore piping materials, stress engineering, platforms and FPSO layout design, material handling, piping/pipe support design, and safety requirements. - Conducting E3D model reviews as per the project requirements. - Effectively managing design changes and providing appropriate solutions during project execution. - Producing deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports, and various third-party submissions. - Providing skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practices. - Understanding clients" needs, identifying and addressing design parameters and problems, and developing and implementing solutions. - Performing inter-discipline and discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by yourself or junior engineers within the group. Qualifications required for this role are Diploma/ B E Mechanical with a minimum of 5-15 years of experience in Offshore platform Piping.
