You are required to work as an FPSO Piping Design Engineer / Designer for an MNC based in Navi Mumbai specializing in Oil and Gas industry. The job is on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension. To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5-15 years of experience in Offshore platform Piping. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise a team of Piping Engineers and Designers as the Lead Engineer of the project. You will be expected to ensure efficient project execution within the specified schedule and budget constraints. A strong understanding of offshore piping materials, stress engineering, platforms and FPSO layout design, material handling, piping/pipe support design, and safety requirements is essential. Additionally, you will be required to conduct E3D model reviews in line with project requirements and effectively manage design changes by providing suitable solutions during project execution. Your role will involve producing deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports, and other third-party submissions. Your expertise, integrity, and knowledge in discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current engineering practices, will be crucial. You should be able to understand clients" needs, identify and address design parameters and issues, and develop and implement viable solutions. Regular inter-discipline and discipline QA/QC checks on all work performed by yourself or junior engineers within the team will be part of your responsibilities.
