Identify different stress packages through review of P&IDs / Line Designation tables. Performs piping flexibility analysis (static and dynamic) for critical piping systems during preliminary design and detailed design phase of Project. Dynamic analysis capabilities including modal, harmonic and response spectrum analysis. Evaluate Stress, Displacement, Forces and moments on restraints for support design and Evaluate piping loads with in allowable nozzle loads. Perform analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating cases, occasional (viz winds, seismic, relief, hammer etc.) Perform pipe stress analysis for different equipment like Steam turbine, Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, tanks, exchangers, heaters, columns, etc. Measure the effects of support settlement, safety relief valves, seismic loads, thermal cycle loads and wind. Analysis capabilities for Jacketed Piping system, Expansion joints piping system etc. Flange Leak Check. Provide pipe loading information to Civil/Structure. Resolve high pipe loads on equipment nozzles. Nozzle Flexibilities (WRC) and Stresses. Resolve high secondary stresses in piping. Perform pipe support design & calculations for statically and dynamically loaded supports. Selection of spring hangers, snubbers, struts, expansion bellows for pipe supports. Preparation and interpretation/review of stress calculations of relatively complex nature in high seismic zones. Locate and identify pipe supports on isometrics along with type of supports. Evaluation of local stresses via code cases. Support structure calculations using tools like STADD. Review and sign-off piping isometrics considering flexibility and supporting. Prepare complete documentation of the stress analysis and support design. Participates in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data from suppliers. Review piping isometrics considering flexibility and supporting. Knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis design work. Must be experienced in preparing/developing/maintaining the Standard Pipe Support Catalogue on the Project. Highly experienced in preparing Special Support Sketch/Drawing/Details from scratch & completing them with complete details/annotations for Construction/Fabrication of the support at site as per Client expectations. Update Master Specifications for pipe supports e.g. updating span tables, etc. Previous experience in SS, Alloy (High temp piping) & vibration susceptible piping suspports. Work with Structural Designers to incorporate pipe support details into structural drawing sets where applicable. Pipe Support MTO (steel, brackets, bolts, clips, etc.)preperation Good Communication Skills in English. Should be able to communicate within international projects. Able to communicate with supervising designers, other discipline designers and technical specialists to obtain technical information as required. Team player and willing to receive direction.
