Cloud FP&A Expense Analyst

Dedicated support for Cloud Infrastructure FP&A team (in no particular order) Day to Day Support Drive financial forecast model updates and trend analyses for our Cloud Infrastructure and hosting-related expenses Through data, partner with Engineering, Product, and Cloud Infrastructure team leaders to analyze cloud spend and identify areas of opportunity to improve results, develop monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, and to understand their to-date results to help tell the right story Enhance and maintain financial model in Excel with multiple database connections; constantly looking for opportunities to automate processes Forecast accuracy assessment and improvement recommendations Forecast validation, checking for reasonableness and ensuring changes in trends are explainable Perform analysis on key company growth and optimization initiatives to drive decision making Calendering for recurring meetings specific to Platoons and Teams for forecast review and Budget vs Actual performance Support ad-hoc and root cause analysis Scorecard reporting and automation Anaplan - experience with Anaplan (or comparable tool) is a plus Advanced Excel skills essential Annual Planning Partner with Engineering and Product leads to capture new costs and cost optimizations in the annual plan Review and understand gaps to target, work with head of Cloud Infra FP&A on plans to address Own designing and sharing templates related to output required in Plan Own key calendar invites related to Plan 30/60/90 Onboarding Plan First 30 days Systems access, general training, shadow day to day processes and learn how LiveRamp operates and how FP&A Expense folds in 30-60 days Producing first materials, integrating into day to day processes of the broader team 90 days+ Directly owning and producing on given deadlines various to be defined materials Able to submit first deliverables independently, with accuracy, and minimal support along the way Expectations 1 year + Fully own and operate forecast model B uildin g dir e c t r ela tio n s hip s wit h t e c h nic al le a d e r s
