Founding Software Engineer

Role Overview: As the first engineering hire at TradePi, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing options trading in India. Your primary responsibilities will include leading development, collaborating closely with the founder, integrating systems, ensuring quality, and driving innovation. You will have the opportunity to architect and build core systems across the stack using Python (FastAPI) and React, work with broker APIs for seamless trading experiences, implement testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improve the platform based on user feedback and market trends. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Development: Architect and build core systems using Python (FastAPI) and React. - Collaborate Closely: Work directly with the founder to translate product vision into scalable solutions. - Integrate Systems: Connect with broker APIs for seamless trading experiences. - Ensure Quality: Implement testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for robust deployments. - Drive Innovation: Continuously improve the platform based on user feedback and market trends. Qualifications Required: - Proficient in Python, especially with frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. - Strong experience with React and modern frontend development. - Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and RESTful APIs. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker). - Startup Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building impactful products. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
