Slayd is the AI fashion companion that helps the Gen-Z to decide on what to wear and how to style it. We’re moving at breakneck speed to become the AI shopping companion for millions. Now, we’re looking for a Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer to join us in Gurugram. This isn’t just another dev role - it’s a seat at the table from Day 0. What you'll do: Own core product development end-to-end - frontend ( React/React Native ), backend ( Django/FastAPI ), and everything in between. Work directly with the founders to design, build, and ship features powering Slayd’s AI fashion engine. Scale systems for millions of fashion-hungry users (think embeddings, search infra, recsys, real-time feeds). Make quick calls on architecture, trade-offs, and optimizations - no red tape, just fast execution. Build scrappy POCs one day, production-grade systems the next. What we are looking for? 1–3 years of full-stack experience (startup experience > big brand names). Strong in React Native/React and Python/Django/FastAPI Comfort with databases, APIs, and deploying on AWS/GCP. A hacker’s mindset - fast, resourceful, and unafraid to get hands dirty. Bonus if you’ve dabbled in ML infra, search, or recommendation systems. Most importantly: someone who thrives in chaos, loves ownership, and wants to help build a company from the ground up.
