Founding CTO

Urbanity AI is building a real-time computer vision platform for high-impact use cases in India. We are looking for a Founding CTO who can architect, build, and scale an on-device AI system from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Build the full technical roadmap and core CV product
• Architect and optimize

  on-device inference + real-time video pipelines

• Integrate and work with

  production-grade SoCs

  (Ambarella, Qualcomm, Jetson, Sony)
• Lead embedded systems development (C/C++, Linux, firmware, drivers)
• Oversee sensor integration, ISP tuning, encoding, storage, and system reliability
• Recruit and mentor a small, strong engineering team
• Work closely with the founder on product strategy and execution
• Drive prototype → pilot → production with engineering rigor

What You Bring

• Strong experience in

  computer vision

  and deploying

  edge inference

• Hands-on expertise in

  embedded systems

  , C/C++, and Linux
• Experience working with SoCs or hardware accelerators for AI
• Deep understanding of

  camera pipelines

  , sensors, and video processing
• Ability to optimize models for

  latency, power, and thermal constraints

• Experience shipping real-world CV or embedded products
• Comfort working in early-stage, fast-moving environments
• Passion for building technology with real public-impact potential
