Job Title: Design Engineer – Aluminum Formwork

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer specializing in Aluminum Formwork systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing efficient, safe, and cost-effective formwork designs for residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure timely delivery and smooth implementation of formwork systems on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Formwork Design:

• Create 2D/3D formwork layout drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
• Design and detail aluminum formwork systems according to project specifications, structural requirements, and load considerations.
• Optimize material usage and ensure structural stability and safety.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with the project team, including fellow engineers, client & Project manager.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during installation and execution.

Technical Documentation:

• Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Generate material take-offs and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.

Quality & Compliance:

• Conduct design checks and validations.
• Ensure all designs meet safety regulations and company quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in aluminum formwork design or similar structural formwork systems.
• Experience with construction site environments is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• Familiar with structural analysis and engineering software.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum formwork systems and construction methodology.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
