Forex Executive

Core Responsibilities: Forex Operations & Compliance Executive

This role requires a meticulous and customer-focused professional to manage daily foreign exchange transactions, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and support sales efforts.

1. Forex Dealing & Customer Service

• Execute diverse foreign exchange transactions, including currency buy/sell (cash), Telegraphic Transfers (TT), and the issuance/loading of Forex Travel Cards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing real-time currency rate information and resolving transaction queries.
• Actively upsell travel-related products (e.g., travel insurance, holiday packages) to customers conducting forex transactions.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

• Thoroughly verify customer documents (Passport, Visa, PAN, Ticket, Aadhaar, etc.) to ensure complete and accurate KYC (Know Your Customer) and regulatory compliance for every transaction.
• Verify all forex transactions for proper supporting documentation (including LRS declarations, invoices, etc.) before final processing.
• Stay continuously updated on RBI circulars (specifically related to FEMA and AD-II category guidelines) and global forex market trends.

3. Accounting & Record Management

• Accurately maintain updated transaction records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and internal sales registers.
• Reconcile daily physical cash and bank receipts related to forex transactions.
• Prepare daily closing balances, cash position statements, and transaction summaries for handoff to the Branch Manager.
• Assist the Accounts department by providing required transaction data and documentation only, ensuring no overlap with specialized accounting tasks (e.g., GST/TDS filings, P&L generation).

4. Cash Management & Security

• Ensure the security and proper handling of physical foreign currency cash holdings, strictly adhering to internal safety and locker procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance of the cash vault and conduct regular cash counts to match physical inventory with system records.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
