Foreman MRO

Role Overview

The Foreman plays a key supervisory role in overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations in the MRO facility. Responsible for planning, assigning, and monitoring maintenance activities on heavy aircraft, the Foreman ensures that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards. This position requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage teams engaged in major maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of technicians and mechanics performing maintenance tasks on heavy aircraft.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with OEM manuals, regulatory standards, and company procedures.
• Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and resources to meet maintenance schedules and production requirements.
• Monitor progress of maintenance tasks and provide timely updates to the Production Manager.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to technicians and junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards within the MRO.
• Review and verify maintenance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and quality control activities.
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Avionics Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an MRO environment dealing with major maintenance of heavy aircraft.
• At least 5 years of proven supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Prior Towing experience would be an added advantage
