Food Testing

As a Recipe Development & Testing specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to recipe creation, testing, and verification. Your role will involve testing recipes by actually cooking with a microwave oven, generating ideas for new recipes, comparing recipes among different cooking devices, conducting sensory evaluations, and maintaining the cooking lab with basic 5S and infrastructure. - Test recipes by cooking with a microwave oven for new development and improvement verification. - Generate ideas for new recipes based on different nutrient values, features, regions, and states. - Compare recipes among microwave oven models and other cooking devices such as air fryer and OTG, and prepare reports. - Conduct sensory evaluations based on the recipes tested. - Maintain and order ingredients as per cooking trials. - Take the lead in cooking part in collaborating with new customers, 3rd parties, and food companies. - Develop and verify manual recipes, update recipe manuals, cookbooks, etc. - Collaborate with vendors for sample submissions. - Provide support to the NPI team for printing and cooking-related activities, including preparing print checklists and reviewing/approving them with the concerned team. - Assist the sales/service team by supporting service executives with customer queries related to microwave oven recipes and helping sales/marketing with microwave oven cooking video preparation. - Maintain the cooking lab for audit purposes. - Experience in recipe development and testing. - Knowledge of microwave oven cooking and other cooking devices. - Strong attention to detail and sensory evaluation skills. - Ability to collaborate with vendors and other teams effectively. - Prior experience in manual writing and verification. - Familiarity with basic 5S principles for lab maintenance. - Excellent communication skills for customer queries and team collaboration.,
