Food & Beverage Associate

1. Guest Service

• Greet guests courteously and assist them in finding a suitable table.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations when required.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Handle guest complaints politely and inform the supervisor or captain immediately.

2. Service Standards

• Follow the standard service procedures as per restaurant or hotel SOPs.
• Maintain table settings, silverware, and glassware neatly and hygienically.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between courses and after use.
• Ensure condiments, cutlery, and napkins are available and well-presented at all times.

3. Teamwork & Coordination

• Support the restaurant captain and other team members during service operations.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely and accurate order delivery.
• Assist in mise-en-place (preparation before service) and closing duties after service.
• Participate actively in pre-service briefings and team meetings.

4. Sales & Upselling

• Promote and upsell food and beverage items, daily specials, and combo offers.
• Suggest appropriate beverages and desserts to complement meals.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions, events, and special menus.

5. Hygiene & Safety

• Follow all hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards strictly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area, dining tables, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Report any breakages, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

6. Billing & Documentation

• Ensure accurate billing by verifying orders before presenting the bill.
• Assist the cashier in settling payments when required.
• Maintain records of guest feedback and suggestions when applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
