Food and Beverage Attendant

Job Summary: Vanaashrya Resort and Spa is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations about food and beverage options.Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.

Food and Beverage Service:Serve meals, drinks, and appetizers to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
Ensure accuracy in the orders and verify that they meet guests' specifications.Be attentive to guests' needs throughout their dining experience.

Table Maintenance:Set up dining areas, including cleaning and arranging tables, chairs, and tableware.
Monitor and replenish condiments, beverages, and other supplies as needed.Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.

Knowledge of Menu and Specials:Familiarize yourself with the restaurant's menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
Provide information about ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen concerns.Promote and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:Follow proper hygiene and safety standards, including handwashing and food safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, ensuring a tidy and inviting atmosphere.Assist in cleaning and organizing the service station and side stations.

Billing and Payment:Accurately process guest bills and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.Provide guests with itemized receipts and thank them for their visit.

Customer Feedback:Solicit feedback from guests regarding their dining experience.
Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.Report feedback and issues to the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is advantageous.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
