FMCG Warehouse Manager

As a Warehouse Manager for an FMCG company based in Chelari, Calicut, Kerala, your role will involve overseeing the efficient operations of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing daily warehouse operations such as receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch to ensure smooth functioning. - Ensuring optimal space utilization and layout efficiency within the warehouse. - Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security to create a conducive work environment. - Supervising and providing guidance to warehouse staff, offering training and performance feedback as necessary. - Collaborating with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to guarantee timely order fulfilment. - Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Managing inventory levels effectively and conducting regular audits to minimize shrinkage. - Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements at all times. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management specifically within the FMCG industry. - Demonstrated success in managing high-volume operations and rapid inventory turnover. - Strong leadership capabilities and effective people management skills. - Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent organizational abilities and adept problem-solving skills. - Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
