Floor Manager( Automobile Service)

Job Summary:

The Service Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the service floor, ensuring smooth workflow, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery of services. This role acts as the key link between customers, service advisors, technicians, and the service manager to ensure high standards of service quality and customer handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations on the service floor, ensuring jobs are progressing as per schedule.
• Coordinate with service advisors and workshop technicians to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
• Monitor job cards, repair status, and customer updates throughout the service process.
• Address and resolve customer concerns on the floor promptly and professionally.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to safety and service SOPs by all floor staff.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the service area.
• Track vehicle turnaround time and escalate delays or issues to the service manager.
• Support in workshop load planning and manpower deployment.
• Ensure proper documentation, vehicle inspection, and handover procedures.

Requirements:

• Graduate or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive service operations.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management Systems) is a plus.
