Job Purpose

Assisting Store officer in day to day Store activities and maintain appropriate data of stocks and material.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job Context:
In line with its strategy of growing aggressively in the contract coal mining sector, the Mining Business has been exploring various opportunities. RCML been awarded a contract by Eastern Coalfield Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited. To complement the requirement generated by the expansion plans of a public sector power generation company, this subsidiary of CIL is compelled to increase the capacity of one of its existing mines to reach a peak production level of 18. 7 MTPA. This is an open cast operational mine located in Godda district in Jharkhand. The Mining Business has registered a Company i. e. Rajmahal Coal Mining Ltd. to facilitate the commencement of operations. As per the contract the initial duration of the project is 12. 5 yrs which is now extended up to 2029.

Job Challenges:
1)Store Management of HSD: High Speed Diesel which used as the fuel in the HEMM equipment for mining.

2)Maintaining timelines in-order to facilitate end users
3)Ensure no pilferages and theft occurs 4)Wastage control

Key Result Areas
KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Inventory Control a)Maintaining records of HSD & other goods ordered and HSD Good received b)Informing and reminding user of the stock status c)Control over wastages of material d) Material issue against requisition slips. e) Material received based on delivery challan/ Invoice with match according to PO f) Prepare OSRD items g) Material inspection with user department and after shift in store at specific place KRA2 Safe and appropriate storage a)Responsible for store arrangement as per usage. b)Ensure safety measures are taken for materials stored a) Responsible for checking and validating storage security KRA3 Stock Verification a)Responsible for physical stock verification on day to day basis b)Checking of GRN and releasing the same on time with Validated stamp c)Cross checking of Challans, invoice and PO KRA4 Maintenance of Records & MIS a) Ensuring proper filing of PO and work order issued by commercial manager b) Coordinating with commercial Manager regarding inventory issues. c) Prepare MIS and reports stocks on day to day basis and submit to officer stores.
