Your Day
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure proper capitalization of fixed assets, classification, tagging, and disposal.
• Perform monthly depreciation runs and reconciliations between the FAR and the general ledger. • Support in periodic physical verification of fixed assets and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor asset movements, retirements, impairments, and transfers.
• Assist in audits by preparing fixed asset schedules and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards related to fixed assets.
