Job Description

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders. Set up tools, chucks, and workpieces on lathe machines (conventional or CNC). Perform operations such as facing, turning, threading, boring, tapering, and grooving. Ensure proper dimensions using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain tool sharpness and replace worn tools as necessary. Monitor machine operation and ensure part quality and production efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance and basic machine troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe working area in compliance with company safety norms. Record job data, production logs, and inspection results.
