Job Description

Assist in the design of mechanical components for Robotic packaging systems & Special Purpose Machine Designs, including conveyors, grippers, frames, and safety guards.  Create 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software.  Support senior engineers with prototyping, assembly, and testing of new designs.  Update BOMs (Bill of Materials) and maintain proper documentation in the PDM system.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, and manufacturing.  Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.  Assist in resolving technical issues during assembly and testing phases.  Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards (e.g., CE, ISO).
