Role Overview: As a Fitness Trainer in the Health & Fitness industry, you will be part of a dynamic on-site fitness team dedicated to assisting members in developing sustainable habits, enhancing functional strength, and reaching wellness objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engaging and safe group fitness classes such as HIIT, circuit training, and functional training for members of various levels. - Perform baseline fitness assessments and create customized exercise programs tailored to individual member goals, restrictions, and progress indicators. - Provide one-on-one personal training sessions with clear exercise demonstrations, form corrections, progression planning, and motivation. - Ensure cleanliness and safety in training areas, set up and return equipment, monitor member safety, and report incidents based on club protocols. - Enhance member engagement and retention through proactive follow-ups, progress updates, and fostering friendly relationships at the front desk. - Collaborate with senior trainers and managers to enhance class offerings, exchange best practices, and participate in continuous training sessions. Qualifications Required: - Certification from a recognized fitness body such as ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent. - Possession of valid CPR and AED certification. - Practical knowledge of exercise programming for strength and cardiovascular fitness. - Ability to conduct fitness assessments and monitor basic performance indicators. - Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively cue movements. - Availability to work on-site with flexible shift timings, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
