Team Management: Lead and supervise the mining team, including engineers, supervisors, and workers.Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and safety awareness of the team.Manage workforce planning, including shift scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations.Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Resource Management: Manage the use of resources such as equipment, materials, and labor to ensure efficient operation.Oversee maintenance and repair of mining equipment to ensure operational readiness.Coordinate with procurement for the timely availability of necessary materials and equipment.Planning and Reporting: Develop short-term and long-term mine plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.Prepare and present reports on production, safety, and financial performance to senior management.Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the mining operations.Liaison and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, contractors, and other stakeholders.Maintain effective communication with all relevant parties, including internal teams and external consultants.Represent the company in public hearings, community meetings, and industry forums as required.
