Firmware Test & Integration Engineer

• Design and execute unit, integration, validation, and system-level tests to meet performance and safety standards.


• Perform validation testing for: Current calibration, CAN communication using Vector CANoe/CANalyzer and BusMaster, I2C protocol validation, UART communication.


• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to define test plans, strategies, and edge-case scenarios.


• Conduct functional, regression, and stress testing on microcontroller-based embedded systems.


• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Embedded C for scalable testing.


• Use JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol tools for root-cause analysis and issue resolution.


• Validate and debug communication interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART for real-time stability.


• Support board bring-up and system-level integration of firmware components on real hardware and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups.


• Maintain detailed test documentation including plans, execution logs, and validation reports.


• Communicate findings, suggest improvements, and work closely with firmware, hardware, and product teams.

What We re Looking For

• Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.


• 2 5 years of experience in embedded firmware testing, validation, and system integration.


• Strong understanding of embedded systems, real-time constraints, and firmware development in C.


• Hands-on experience in firmware validation (current calibration, CAN, I2C, UART),BMS testing and integration and ARM Cortex-M microcontroller platforms.


• Proficiency with tools and protocols: Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, BusMaster, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, I2C, SPI, CAN, UART.


• Experience in Python or Embedded C for test automation.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.


• Familiarity with BMS, EV platforms, Autosar, RTOS, or embedded Linux is a plus.


• Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations in firmware testing is advantageous.
