Job Description

Job Title:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Firmware Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with microcontrollers, communication protocols, and embedded systems. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing firmware for multiple hardware platforms including MCU boards and IoT modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, debug, and optimize firmware for microcontroller-based systems (ARM, AVR, ESP series, etc.).

Work with serial communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, RS485.

Integrate Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and other communication modules into embedded solutions.

Write low-level drivers and interface modules for sensors, peripherals, and communication hardware.

Collaborate with the hardware and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging on hardware prototypes.

Maintain clear documentation for firmware, protocols, and development processes.

Support enhancements, performance improvements, and feature updates in existing embedded systems.

Requirements

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ programming.

Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as STM32, Atmel AVR, ESP32, etc.

Working knowledge of RTOS concepts.

Experience with hardware interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, ADC, PWM.

Familiarity with Ethernet communication and TCP/IP stack implementation.

Proficiency with debugging tools like JTAG, SWD, Logic Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.

Good understanding of schematic diagrams, data sheets, and hardware design basics.

Ability to analyze problems, optimize performance, and write efficient firmware.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience with boot-loaders, OTA updates, and IoT device firmware.

Knowledge of BLE, Wi-Fi, MQTT, or other communication protocols.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Experience working with cloud-connected embedded systems.

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or related field.

Freshers are welcome to apply.

1–3 years of experience preferred, but skilled freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome to apply.
