ob Title: Fire Protection Engineer – Design

Location: Chennai
Experience: 3–7 years
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Description:
We are seeking a Fire Protection Design Engineer with proven experience in designing fire protection systems for industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and hydraulic calculations for fire protection systems (Sprinkler, Hydrant, FM200, Foam, etc.)
Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, and local authority standards
Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and other project stakeholders
Review shop drawings, design documents, and material submittals
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning stages

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and relevant codes (NFPA, FM, UL)
Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit and design software
Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and MEP coordination
Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
