Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fire Fighting Engineer with hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems across commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in fire safety codes and capable of supervising on-site activities with accuracy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate installation of fire fighting systems (Sprinklers, Hydrants, FM200, CO, Water Mist, etc.).
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with NFPA and local fire codes.
Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control during installation.
Perform and oversee system testing and commissioning activities.
Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities (including Civil Defense).
Prepare method statements, inspection, and testing reports.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE guidelines and safe work practices.
Train end-users/client teams on system operation when required.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1 - 4 years of experience in fire fighting installation, testing, and commissioning.
Strong understanding of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and MEP coordination.
Experience in pressure testing, flow testing, and system integration.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Certifications (NFPA / Civil Defense) will be an added advantage.
