Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualification :

• 10+

  years of experience working directly within the

  manufacturing, industrial, or operations finance

  sector, with strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
• Prior experience in a

  Private Equity-backed company

  or a high-volume, rapid-change manufacturing environment is a significant advantage.

The FP&A will be the dedicated financial partner to the Operations and Supply Chain leadership teams, as well as the Executive team and PE sponsor. This role is crucial for linking operational performance (e.g., utilization, scrap, throughput) directly to financial outcomes (Gross Margin, Inventory Turns, EBITDA).

Technical & Behavioural Skills

• Cost Accounting Expertise:

  Deep, hands-on understanding of absorption costing, standard vs. actual costing, and variance analysis.

• Advanced Financial Modeling

  : Expert-level proficiency in Excel, specifically building integrated 3-statement models and complex CapEx analysis/return models.

• ERP Proficiency:

  Experience extracting and interpreting data from manufacturing ERP systems ([List specific systems if relevant, e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite]) and specialized planning/BI tools.

• Operational Partnership

  : The ability to communicate financial results and concepts effectively to non-financial operational leaders (Plant Managers, VPs of Operations).

• Process Improvement Focus

  : A proactive mindset aimed at automating reporting and streamlining budgeting processes to reduce reporting lead times.
