Job Description

Job Title: Financial Analyst / Reporting Analyst

Location:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, conducting variance analysis, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting in performance tracking through KPIs and P&L analysis. This role will also support the COE team with data uploads and reporting in HFM.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly reports and schedules for actuals and analysis.
Provide financial data and reports to the COE team for upload in HFM.
Analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare monthly P&L and KPI summaries.
Conduct month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter variance analysis.
Assist controllers in margin analysis for customers and projects.
Prepare monthly accounting entries for accruals and other adjustments.
Perform actuals vs. forecast and budget variance analysis with detailed cost breakdowns.
Investigate and challenge variances in actuals where necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of financial processes and financial statements.
Strong understanding of P&L structure and KPI levers impacting profitability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
Working knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
Experience with HFM or similar financial consolidation/reporting tools is preferred.
Highly proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
