Your success in this role will be evaluated based on your proficiency in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. **Basic/ Essential Qualifications:** - Qualified Accountant with CA/CMA/ACCA certification. - Strong academic background with 1st class honors and a minimum bachelor's degree from a reputable institution. - Previous experience in a month-end or quarter-end reporting role, control environment, or finance automation skillset. - Proficiency in using Excel. **Desirable Skillsets/ Good to Have:** - Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to understand and meet their requirements and expectations. - Understanding of key accounting principles under IFRS. - Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities. This role is based in Noida. **Purpose of the Role:** As a Financial Controller AVP, your role will involve managing the financial operations of the organization to ensure accurate, reliable, and integral financial reporting. **Accountabilities:** - Managing the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and accounting records in compliance with relevant standards and regulations. - Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks and reporting them to senior colleagues. - Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraudulent misreporting, and ensure data accuracy. - Establishing financial policies and procedures for consistent and effective financial practices. - Selecting, implementing, and maintaining financial systems and software applications in collaboration with IT colleagues. - Preparing and submitting statutory and regulatory reports and supporting other departments in their regulatory reporting. - Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities for audits and examinations. **Assistant Vice President Expectations:** - Advising and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and ensuring operational effectiveness. - Leading a team to deliver on work that impacts the business function. - Demonstrating leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive. - Collaborating with other functions and business divisions. - Consulting on complex issues and providing advice to support issue resolution. - Mitigating risks and developing new policies/procedures to enhance control and governance. - Taking ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls. - Engaging in complex data analysis and problem-solving. - Communicating complex information effectively. - Influencing stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
