Financial Controller and Strategist

As a Financial Controller and Strategist at Kanerika, you will play a crucial role in both financial stewardship and strategic financial planning. Working closely with the CEO and CFO, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insights to support decision-making in our fast-scaling global business. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards. - Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure statutory, SEZ, GST, and tax compliance. - Liaise with vendors, legal, and banks for financial documentation. - Build and update financial models for revenue, expenses, and growth scenarios. - Track burn rate, gross margins, and EBITDA trends across services & SaaS products. - Provide monthly dashboards and reports to the CEO/CFO with actionable insights. - Conduct variance analysis (budget vs actuals) with root cause and impact mapping. - Maintain and update investor pitch decks, financial disclosures, and cap tables. - Support due diligence, data rooms, and investor queries as required. - Collaborate with BU heads on pricing, cost optimization, and resource planning. - Anticipate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Tools & Skills Required: - Strong expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software. - Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or dashboard tools is a plus. - Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. - Working knowledge of India & US accounting standards and compliance frameworks.
